Increasingly considered one of the most glamorous destinations in North Africa, Marrakech is famed for its fragrant souks and fashionable nightspots.  Experience a mystical and exotic city that attracts winter sunseekers and shopaholics in equal measures.

First review of this fabulous city just in, by text of course.

Laughter for Women

This credit crunch has a lot to answer for.  Worrying about spiralling costs of mortgages and everything else I picked up our local newspaper in search of the bargain holiday.  After trawling through the holiday ads I came upon the perfect answer, a couple of nights in a caravan.

After checking out the price I couldn’t believe my good fortune when I was told it would be £6 a night for a caravan.  ‘Is that £6 each’ I enquired.  No, no, said the site owner.  £6 all in.  .It didn’t cross my mind to ask what the caravan was like.

It was such a great deal and so cheap my husband suggested we take along our son, his wife and our grandson.  So one Friday night we packed up the car; food, clothes, bedding and duvets, enough to last us the weekend and headed off to the Lake District.

After a two and half hour drive we pulled up at the caravan site.  The owner, having heard us approach, came out to welcome us and take out £12 for the weekend.

It was his next words that took the wind out of my sails when he glanced to the back of our car and asked…………… ’where’s your caravan?’
